Recommended Exam Prerequisites

AWS recommended below mentioned basic criteria to be able to take AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate Certification exam:

v  One or more years of hands-on experience deploying and monitoring AWS Cloud Services.

Question Type

There will be 65 questions in the exam and these questions are of two types of questions on the examination:

v  Multiple choice:  Has one correct response and three incorrect responses (distractors).

v  Multiple response: Has two or more correct responses out of five or more options.

Exam Duration

v  Exam is 130 minutes

Note: it is recommended to join the exam 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time as candidate needs to fill out some formalities in order that exam to start.

Exam Fee

v  USD 150 + Applicable Taxes (based on candidate’s country)

Passing Marks

v  AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate Certificate examination is a pass or fail exam.

v  Results for the examination are reported as a score from 100–1000 with a minimum passing score of 700.

v  Score report contains classifications of your performance at each section level.

v  You do not need to “pass” the individual sections.

v  There is no negative marking for wrong answer.
